First things first: I want to reiterate that Savannah Rae Photography is inclusive of ALL types of love regardless of race, sexual orientation, gender, age, body type, etc, and any hate or shame will not be tolerated here.
You're not just another name in my books or a number on an invoice. I center my entire business model around your experience with me and spend most of my time researching and coming up with new ideas to serve each and every one of my clients. I do this by getting to know you + your partner personally, getting to know your quirks and what makes your relationship unique so that I can represent you exactly how you are! During your experience with me I will laugh with you, cry with you, and be there for you every step of the way! I got chuuuuu!

Not just another vendor

More About Us

Hey! I'm Savannah (pronouns She/Her)- I'm a full time photographer and adventure seeker based out of Orange County, California. I became an adventurous elopement photographer because I am in love with getting out in nature and documenting how freaking RAD our planet is. So I thought, why not combine my two loves? So that's what I did. I am so stoked that you're here and are interested in photography that is fun + stress free.

Imagine each photograph being like a little time machine in your hands. Each time you see a photo, you get little butterflies in your stomach and your mind transports you to old memories that may have been buried over time.

I always knew photos were valuable, but it wasn't until I started my career that value took on a new meaning. I've gotten messages from past clients before saying that their loved ones have passed away and the photos we took are worth more to them now than I could ever imagine.

This really hit home when my family lost my grandma and we all shared photos of her from over the years which helped us grieve. This made me realize that I should never underestimate the power a photo holds.

Why photos should matter to you too.

We're storytellers...

I am so so lucky to be able to say that I truly love what I do and that I've made a career out of a passion of mine. Every once in a while though I need to step away from the camera and explore other things that I love. Some of those things include grabbing a matcha oat milk latte and road tripping to the mountains with my partner.
p.s. did you know that there is a Spotify playlist called "oat milk lattes in the mountains"? Listen to it. It's a vibe.

We drink matcha oat milk lattes in the mountains

When I met my partner Nolan (almost 10 years ago!!) we discovered rock climbing. While he pursued this way more than I did, this is still something we enjoy doing together (even though it scares me shitless). Our highest climb so far together was just over 600ft tall. Our favorite places to climb are: Yosemite, Joshua Tree, and British Columbia.

We hang out on the side of cliffs

I'm so lucky to have two built in adventure buddies which are my sisters. I am the middle child and have an older sister Chelsea and a younger sister Bella. I couldn't ask for better people to go diving in the ocean with or hike new places.

I go exploring with the sister trio

When meeting me, you can bet without a doubt that you will see my awkward dance moves at some point. I don't get out much, so when wedding receptions come along, I let my freak flag fly. My signature move is the bernie and you will see this on the dance floor (especially if 2000's hiphop or Macklemore comes on).

I show off awkward dance moves.

As much as I love waking up before sunrise and exploring new places, I equally love sleeping in, grabbing a good fiction book and staying in with my dogs. Something that may not seem obvious when meeting me is I am actually an introvert and love some quiet alone time after a busy wedding weekend. And bubble baths.
My fav books recently:
Greenwood
The Nightingale

I read a good book and cuddle with my pups
