Maria & Nick’s Fall Wedding-Santiago Oaks Park

Earlier on this year, I attended a photography workshop in British Columbia, Canada, that ultimately changed my life/business. When I left the workshop, I felt more motivated and inspired than I have ever been. This workshop taught me so much more than just how to take rad photos. It taught me how to integrate my personality more into my business and to be more myself with my clients.

When I got home from my trip, I got an e-mail from Maria inquiring about photography for her wedding later on in the year. I was so excited to implement what I learned from the workshop and right away asked them if they wanted to meet up for a beer at a local brewery. When I walked in the door, both of them already had two flights of beer in front of them and I knew right away that we were the perfect match. I learned that they had a love for the moon (Nick proposed during the eclipse), they played video games, & loved painting. I knew that an in-home engagement session would be a perfect way to personalize their shoot and reflect their love in the best way possible!
