I’ll start this blog off by saying this shoot took place on March 13th, just days before the country shut down from COVID-19. It was the last shoot I had before months of not being able to photograph my clients and connect with them. It was my last hoorah of sorts before my whole business came to a screeching halt. This is when weddings started postponing, shoots got cancelled, etc.

However weird this time was, I’m so glad I got to do this shoot with Denali & Ian. They traveled from the east coast to do their engagement photos in Big Bear, which is a special place for them. Ian was stationed near the Palm Springs area, and when Denali would fly in to see him, they would head off to Big Bear for a mini getaway. Even though we were freezing cold the whole time, this was definitely a special shoot for me!
