I first met Katie about 6 years ago when we were both waitressing at the same place. We bonded over how crappy our jobs were and I told her my dreams about owning my own wedding photography business. We followed each other on Instagram but after we both quit, we didn’t see each other much. Fast forward 6 years and she is ENGAGED! It made me so happy when she sent me a message saying how she wanted me to photograph her wedding. It’s amazing how much has changed since we last saw each other!

We decided we wanted two different looks for their photos, so we went to a cactus garden in San Diego and then went to the cliffs for some beautiful sunset shots. Also, we couldn’t forget to incorporate their favorite hockey team into their photos!
