When you spend 5 hours in the car with basically a total stranger, you either love them, or hate them. In the case of Jill & Rob- I absolutely LOVED them. I’ll preface this by saying we only met once over some tacos a couple months prior. I knew right off the bat that we were going to hit it off, but spending an entire weekend with them in the same hotel room & 12+ hours in the car made me want to be their best friend. My face actually hurt after that weekend from smiling and laughing so much.

So we met up one morning and made the trek out to Yosemite. Once we got settled into our hotel in Oakhurst, we got some food and went to our first photo spot! I basically pooped my pants when we arrived. There were fires in the area which made for these insane rays of light that cut across the valley. The sunset was INCREDIBLE that we stayed until it was too dark to take any more photos. Also I had no idea there would be slack liners up there! Can you spot them in the photos? 🙂 Also look closely at the jumping picture where the slack liner falls and is hanging in mid-air! Crazy! We went back to the hotel and ate ice cream in bed, and woke up and went to another iconic spot in Yosemite. We shot with half dome looming in the background before heading down into the valley to have a picnic and play in the fall leaves. I cannot wait for their wedding in October!
